1. Information We Do NOT Collect (Local Processing)
We believe in strict privacy by design:
- No Personal Information: The App does not require registration, login credentials, email addresses, phone numbers, or passwords.
- Local Puzzle Processing: All crossword patterns, missing letter inputs, anagram queries, clue lookups, dictionary filters, and interactive puzzle progress are computed and executed directly on your device. Your queries never leave your smartphone or tablet.
2. Third-Party Advertising (Google AdMob)
To keep the App free for everyone, we display occasional non-intrusive advertisements served through Google AdMob.
Google AdMob and Google Play Services may automatically collect and process certain non-personally identifiable diagnostic and technical device information, such as:

The App requests only standard, non-sensitive Android operating system permissions:
android.permission.INTERNET: Required strictly to load advertisements from Google AdMob and to open external definition references (e.g., Wiktionary / Google Search) if you choose to tap on web lookup.android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required to verify active internet connectivity before requesting ad content.
The App does not request access to your Contacts, Camera, Microphone, Exact Location (GPS), Photos, or Local File Storage.
5. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K)
Crossword Solver is intended for a general audience of word game enthusiasts and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age (or under 16 in the European Union). Because the App does not collect or transmit personal user data to external proprietary databases, your puzzle data remains secure on your hardware. All third-party advertising communications utilize industry-standard HTTPS (TLS/SSL) encryption.
