Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Work Shift Calendar (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use our mobile application (the “App”). We designed the App so that most of your schedule data stays on your device. Please read this policy carefully. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Summary
- Your shift calendar, notes, alarms, and related data are stored locally on your device by default.
- We do not operate our own user account servers for calendar storage.
- If you choose optional features (e.g. Google Drive backup), data is sent to Google under your Google account.
- The App shows ads through Google AdMob and may use the Meta (Facebook) SDK for app analytics/attribution.
- You can contact us at info@omnixdev.com.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide in the App
When you use the App, you may enter or generate data such as:
- Shift types, colors, times, hourly rates, and calendar assignments
- Day notes, markers, overtime, income, and statistics
- Alarm and reminder settings (times, sound/vibrate/silent preferences)
- Photos or drawings you attach to calendar days (if you use those features)
- Backup files you export or import (JSON format)
- App preferences (theme, currency, week start day, etc.)
This information is primarily stored locally on your device using on-device storage (for example, AsyncStorage and app-private files).
2.2 Optional cloud and Google services
If you choose to use optional Google features, the App may:
- Sign you in with Google Sign-In
- Upload or download backup files to Google Drive (files you initiate)
- Upload calendar events to Google Calendar (if you use that feature)
These actions are initiated by you. Google processes data according to Google’s Privacy Policy. We do not receive your Google password.
2.3 Information collected automatically
When you use the App, certain information may be collected automatically by us and/or third-party partners:
- Advertising data: Google AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP address, ad interaction data, and similar information to show and measure ads.
- Meta SDK: If enabled, Meta may collect app events and device/advertising-related data for analytics and app install attribution.
- Technical data: Device type, operating system version, app version, language, and crash/diagnostic logs generated by the platform or SDKs.
Our App may request non-personalized ads in some cases; however, third-party ad partners may still process limited data as described in their policies.
2.4 Information we do not collect
- We do not require you to create an account with us to use core calendar features.
- We do not knowingly collect precise real-time location for tracking purposes.
- We do not sell your personal calendar content to third parties.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide core App functionality (calendar, shifts, alarms, statistics, backups)
- Schedule and deliver local notifications and alarms you configure
- Display banner and interstitial advertisements
- Measure app usage and improve stability and features
- Respond to support requests you send us
- Comply with legal obligations
4. Device Permissions
The App may request the following permissions on Android:
- Internet: ads, Google services, and optional cloud features
- Notifications: shift and note reminders
- Exact alarms / wake lock / boot completed: reliable scheduled reminders
- Vibrate: vibrate-only alarm mode
- Camera / photos / storage / audio: optional day photos, custom alarm sounds, and local backup files
- Bluetooth (optional): only if you enable advanced Bluetooth actions on alarms; not required for normal use
You can deny or revoke permissions in Android Settings, but some features may not work without them.
5. Third-Party Services
The App uses third-party services that have their own privacy policies:
- Google AdMob — Google Privacy Policy
- Meta (Facebook) SDK — Meta Privacy Policy
- Google Sign-In / Google Drive / Google Calendar — Google Privacy Policy
We encourage you to review these policies. You can also adjust ad personalization settings on your device (Google Ads settings) and limit ad tracking in your device privacy settings where available.
6. Data Storage, Retention, and Deletion
- On-device data remains on your phone/tablet until you delete it in the App, uninstall the App, or use “Reset All Data”.
- Backups you create remain where you save them (device storage or your Google Drive).
- Ad/analytics partners retain data according to their own retention schedules.
To delete local App data: use in-app reset options or uninstall the App. To delete Google Drive backups, remove those files from your Google Drive account.
7. Data Sharing
We may share information only in these situations:
- With service providers/SDKs that help us operate the App (advertising, analytics, Google APIs you choose to use)
- When required by law, regulation, legal process, or government request
- To protect rights, safety, and security of users and the public
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (with notice where required)
We do not sell your shift calendar content.
8. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
9. International Users and Your Rights
Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA, UK, or California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of your personal information, and to object to processing or withdraw consent where applicable.

11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version at https://omnixdev.com/privacy and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
